A Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a 10-digit alphanumeric number that is given to each individual who pays taxes and every company conducting financial transactions in India or abroad. Any tax-paying entity, whether an individual or an organization, must have a PAN card. Through the UTIITSL or NSDL websites, anybody can submit an application for a PAN card. Within 45 days of application, the PAN card hard copy will be delivered to the address provided on the Form 49A.
Once the card is created, the applicant can download an e-PAN card online, which can be used everywhere as a document of identity proof. However, it is not a document of nationality proof. This article will inform you about the easiest way to download a PAN card by using an internet-enabled smartphone, tablet, or PC. Before going deep into the process, let’s learn some basic facts about e-PAN cards.
The electronic Permanent Account Number (e-PAN) card was first introduced on May 28, 2020. Before that, you could see the details of your PAN online, but you did not get the card online. An e-PAN card is the digital format of a physical PAN card. However, you will get vast details on the sheet of information. You can also download it in a PDF format (almost similar to an e-Aadhaar card) for further use. A copy of the card is also attached at the lower side of the e-PAN card. You can go for a PAN card download pdf to get a copy saved or printed from any digital printing shop. A QR code is included with the new PAN cards that contain the details of the e-PAN applicant.
If you want to get the details, you can download the “Enhanced QR code reader for PAN card” from the Play Store.
It is crucial to note that it is unlawful to have more than one PAN card. A fine of up to Rs. 10,000 may be imposed on a person who is found to have more than one PAN card.
There is a lot of basic information available there. Let’s have a look at the information that it contains:

Hence, you may apply through Change Request mode at UTIITSL to avail yourself of this facility of ePAN or ePAN along with a physical laminated card. To apply, use this link: https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/panonline_ipg/forms/csfPan.html/csfPreForm Or you may download ePAN by visiting the NSDL site.”

Then, they will send you the PDF downloading options to your email address or the way you select.
The applicant can download an e-PAN card free of cost only when the application is submitted within 30 days of the issuance of the PAN card. If anybody requests after one month of the application, they have to pay ?8.26/- (inclusive of taxes) every time they request an e-PAN card. Here is the sequence described:

If you submit the application for PAN card preparation on the UTIITSL portal, you can get your e-PAN card there. Otherwise, this site may not accept the downloading option of the ePAN card.
