FSSAI Regulations On Honey

In a shocking revelation, The Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) has listed some top brands of honey with adulterations like - Dabur, Patanjali, Emami’s Zandu.

Regulations on Honey-

Quantity of Ingredients -As per FSSAI, Honey should comply with 18 parameters such as sucrose content, glucose ratio, pollen count, foreign oligosaccharides. This is done keeping the interests of the consumer in mind. Sucrose content in honey is capped at 5%. Moisture percentage is kept at a maximum of 20.
